Boysen's Market (formerly Fenner Bros.) in Martin, Michigan

Help us save Boysen's Market in Martin, Michigan! It's been vacant for over 10 years and may be torn it down soon! We're trying to save it and restore it back to the original brick building to preserve our history. Boysen's property is where our little town of Martin started. Where the first settler Mumford Eldred bought land and built his 18x18 log cabin in the 1836 with his wife and 5 children. Where Thomas H. Shepherd built the first General Store, which burned in 1892, then rebuilt a brick structure complete with a stage, lighting & dressing rooms upstairs, know as Boysens today. Through the years, it's been owned by Fenner Bros., Harold Kelsey and then Alvin Boysen in 1944. It is part of our history, where our community started. Please help us save Boysen's in Martin, Michigan. Thank You!
