The Challenge?
coolcapitals.com and Dwell.com have teamed up for the second year in a row to bring you a cool design competition!
Bored with drab, one-color phone cases? We certainly are, and that's why we are challenging all world denizens, designers, techies, and travelers to create a cool sheath for the iPhone and Blackberry.
We are looking for a modern, graphic design that represents and fuses the unique cultures, people, and sensibilities of the coolcapitals cities of Amsterdam, Antwerp, Valencia, Vienna and Zürich.
At stake is a vacation for two to the coolcapital city of your choice. Any Dweller worth their salt should enter this one. Download the provided iPhone and BlackBerry templates and get cracking.
How to Enter
To be considered, your submission must contain:- Completed entry form with all required fields filled out in full
- 1 vector-based eps file utilizing the provided iPhone case template
- 1 vector-based eps file utilizing the provided BlackBerry case template
Judging Criteria
To win a European excursion, your design must:- be able to communicate ALL 5 coolcpaitals cities
- include the name of each coolcapitals city (Amsterdam, Antwerp, Valencia, Vienna, and Zürich)
- inspired by the food, fashion, architecture, art, and design of each city
- fashion-forward and marketable
- unisex in appeal
- targeted to design-savvy travelers

Prize
The lucky winner will receive:- 2 round-trip tickets from anywhere in the contiguous United States to the coolcapital city of their choice
- 5 night hotel stay
- 2 city cards (includes free local transportation within city, discounts to select shops and restaurants, and free entrance to most major attractions and museums)
- 20 of their Cool Case winning design phone covers to give to family and friends
