Contemporary Entry Foyer
To reinforce the geometry of the architecture, we utilized Caesarstone #4100 (organic white) as a flooring material. 7 monolithic slabs were cut to a skewed shape and installed as a figurative set of stepping stones leading from the front entry door to the entry door of the adjacent zen garden. The slabs were set flush to adjacent woven bamboo flooring. As the sun moves during the day, the playful movement of light and shadow across the geometry of the slabs makes the space dynamic and poetic.
